ASHI programs have been reviewed by and/or satisfy the requirements of the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (DOL/OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard (DHS/USCG).
USCG approval for merchant mariner license candidates: “This course (FA & CPR) has been determined to meet or exceed the standards of the American Red Cross and/or American Heart Association courses and will satisfy the first aid and CPR training requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(h)(1)(iii) and (h)(2)(iv) for a merchant mariner license”.
